Atheros is a major supplier of wireless cards for laptops and the popular Nintendo DS. Marvell on the other hand is a more diversified semiconductor company making Xscale, Topdog wifi, hard drive SOC, and printer ASIC. Semiconductor are very cyclical and stock price depends highly on gross margins, but I am for some reason drawn to them and their ability to make the digital lifestlye possible.
